My expectation about Bodh Gaya fell far short of expectation. A world heritage site where so many people even foreigners visit should have been much much cleaner with proper crowd management mechanism.
People visit Gaya for religious purpose. Authorities should remember God lives in cleaner places. Gaya is unbelievably dirty chaotic, traffic is atrocious . I didnt like the place.
If I had better option for pindadaan I would rather go to that place than Gaya.
I will not recommend my children or any one to go to Gaya for pindadaan.
A place of such importance for Hinduism should have been much better.
Gaya gives a very bad and wrong image of traditional India. I am ashamed that this place is visited by foreigners who get a wrong idea about India.

I suggest spending a day in Bodhgaya (close to Gaya) if you're travelling around North India. It is not very touristic, so it can give you another perspective of the country and it is also a "wind of fresh air" after visiting indu temples and mosques: here you can find dozens of buddhist temples, all in the same place! Of course the Mahabodhi Temple is the cherry on top of the cake, we liked it a lot.

People are very honest, diligent and sincere.
People are very honest, diligent and sincere. They are poor yet dependable. Most unhygienic, poor-quality food. The state government has utterly failed in maintaining the sanctity of the holy places.
The monastery and temples are very well and beautifully maintained.
The poverty and illiteracy of the poor people is very well exploited by the successive state governments.

First select a room not by the rating & offers provided in booking.com, if I viewed the review of that hotel in google. I wouldn't have booked it. Pls book a decent hotel while traveling to other States (Book hotels really have all amenities don't get cheated by false offers in booking.com). Money is not important peace of mind is important. If you feel you re being cheated, you can't enjoy the trip.
I really like like the clinginess, interior, and the Management and behavior of all staffs especially the Manager. I highly recommend to all the people who want a pleasant stay in Gaya, this is your best location. I have been to many Hotels as I am a traveler and a fine-art photographer, this is one of the best hotel i came to know and stayed.
and they have surprised me hosting my bday by their team and Manager.
No facilities at all , only two staff for whole hotel. No room service no breakfast even tea was not available in morning. For dinner i walked 2 km to have some food. No food available in this hotel . Mosquito are everywhere. In the morning staff was sleeping at 8'o clock. So I have to leave key and self check check out. Horrible...... Please don't offer this Hotel in future'....
the manager was horrible and took full money for 3 hrs extra whereas the previous manager accepted half day room rate . light went off , room was dirty no hot water and no electricity at the night crazy piece of dingy shit hotel with horrible staff . the manger was a fraud . we threw money on his face and thank god to not ever see them again
The price is low. You pay for what you get.
However, as a hotel, staff is not helpful. No hot water, no shower. You are given a bucket and a big plastic cup to fill it with cold water for bathing. Room has broken windows therefore very cold at night but staff refused to give extra blanket. Too many mosquitoes
Ambience and location of the hotel.
Comfort fabric and bed.
We stayed there for 1 day and it's was super amazing. All COVID protocol were followed.
Tasty food. South Indian breakfast was super tasty. Very helpful housekeeping staff. Good owner
Nothing good in your pop divisha, I request all customers please never visit this hotel....very cheap quality of this hotel and their rooms. Staff was very bad.....no any vehicles found in near by this hotel. And very far from city.
Nice Hotel. Easy to locate and easy to reach from Gaya railway station. If you are coming to visit vishnu pad mandir then this is the best choice.
Bed was super comfortable and luxurious. Big washroom clean rooms and clean property
Property is located in a very important city of Gaya which is very ia moksha city for Hindus. It is managed by all Hindu staff who are very helpful and courteous people specially Ms. Sneha who is managing property very well.
Friendly staffs. Always there to help you if you need. Very good vegetarian food. Located just near the main railway station and bus stop. Easy to access most of the places. The convenient store within the hotel premises.
Excellent and friendly staff of front office , feels like home. Staff assists you to the room gives you a room tour . The food is so mouth watering. Really liked my stay over here . Would suggest to all my friends....
This is the worst hotel ....They are frauds...Please don't go to this hotel...U will certainly regret...
The owner put all hidden charges and behaves very rudely with the guests...
Nice breakfast (omlette / indian + tea), nice guy the owner, rooms clean, bathroom clean and funky, tuktuks to Bodhgaya leave from just outside the hostel.
